What we do

Obsessed with Detail

Every frame earns its place. Materials, lighting, timing, typography—nothing ships until it clicks.

Modern Creative

Fresh, contemporary aesthetics that age well. Design that fits the moment—and the medium.

Story, Sharpened

We distill your message to its cleanest line, then build it back with beauty. The result: work that’s clear, memorable, and impossible to ignore.

Partner Mindset

We treat your goals like our own—transparent scopes, reliable schedules, and communication you don’t have to chase.

Performance by Design

Pretty is a baseline. We design for comprehension, conversion, and brand lift.

Creative Meeting

Discovery & Alignment

We learn your objectives, audience, and constraints. We map proof points, tone, and success metrics before we touch pixels.

1

Storyboard

Concept & Story

Script or messaging spine → visual language → lean styleframes. You’ll see the core idea fast—zero guesswork.

2

Video Game Designers

Design & Build

2D/3D buildout, look-dev, lighting, simulation, animation. We iterate on what matters, not on noise.

3

Outdoors Meeting

Review & Polish

Structured checkpoints. Notes rolled into decisive passes. Sound, mix, finishing. Delivery in every format you need.

4

Where we do it

NYC is our creative home base; we collaborate with clients and team members across the U.S. and worldwide.

  • A typical project runs: discovery + brief → strategy & treatment → script & boards → design & styleframes → 3D build / motion tests → animation → sound & finish → delivery. You’ll see and approve each stage so there are no surprises at the end.

  • We build most work in Cinema 4D with a modern render pipeline, plus tools like After Effects, Premiere/Resolve, and the usual Adobe design stack. For certain jobs we’ll tap real-time and simulation tools when they make sense. The goal is always: stable, production-proven software and clean, future-proof files.

  • We structure projects around clear feedback rounds. You’ll review via online links with time-coded comments, and we’ll respond point-by-point. Most scopes include 2–3 formal rounds at key stages (script, design, animation). That keeps feedback focused and protects both your schedule and budget.

  • Yes, where it genuinely helps. We use AI for things like visual exploration, cleanup, roto/paint support, and versioning - but core design, storytelling, and animation are done by humans. The goal is to move faster and smarter, not to replace craft or ship generic, AI-looking work.

  • Standard delivery is high-quality video masters (often ProRes and/or high-bit-rate H.264/H.265) plus any agreed social and platform-specific crops (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.). We can also supply selected 4K stills, clean plates, and text-safe or language-agnostic versions. Project/source files can be added to scope if needed.

  • Once the project is paid in full, you get the usage rights outlined in the proposal - typically broad marketing use across web, social, events, and paid media for your brand or product. We usually retain underlying project files and working assets unless a specific transfer is negotiated.

  • Yes. We’re built to act as a dedicated motion/3D team for brands and agencies. For larger campaigns or ongoing work, we assemble a consistent core team around your account so look, quality, and communication stay tight - even as output ramps up.

  • You’ll have a single main point of contact plus access to a lightweight project board and regular check-ins. We keep schedules, milestones, and delivery dates visible, share WIPs via secure links, and document decisions so everyone knows what’s approved and what’s next.

FAQ

  • Garbanzo is a boutique 2D/3D animation and motion design studio for brands and agencies. We create product launch films, explainer videos, technical visualizations, hero product shots, motion graphics, and VFX-driven spots that help you market complex products clearly and make campaigns look top-tier.

  • We focus on high-impact commercial work: product launch videos, technical explainer films, 3D product animations, broadcast and online ads, social cutdowns, and animated brand systems. If it’s tied to a campaign, product launch, or fundraising story - and it needs to look expensive and perform - it's probably a fit.

  • We work across tech, software/SaaS, hardware and electronics, CPG and kitchenware, automotive and mobility, and other marketing-driven brands. On the agency side, we plug into creative, production, and post teams as their dedicated motion graphics and 3D animation studio.

  • Most 3D product animations and explainer videos land between $15k and $30k, depending on length, visual complexity, and how many versions/cutdowns you need. Very short, focused assets sometimes start around $10k. We scope each project individually so you know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs.

  • Most projects take 4–8 weeks from brief to final delivery. Faster timelines are possible, but require tighter scope, quicker feedback, and rush rates. Longer, more complex films, big campaigns, or heavy R&D can push beyond that. We’ll give you a realistic schedule up front and keep it updated.

  • Both. We work directly with in-house marketing teams, founders, and product leaders and as a white-label animation partner for agencies. We’re very comfortable staying in the background, following your process, and making your team look great in front of your client.

  • We can take you from blank page to final master or plug into an existing idea. Many clients come to us with only a rough brief. We help clarify the message, write or refine the script, build storyboards and styleframes, then move into design, 3D, animation, and finishing.

  • Yes - and that usually saves time and budget. We regularly ingest CAD models, engineering drawings, product photos, live-action plates, and existing brand systems. We’ll clean, optimize, and enhance what you already have so the final animation feels on-brand and technically accurate.
